B990 Table Topper Project
Amanda Murphy has a pattern for a table topper that was made to use the features of the B990 machine. The pattern instructions include piecing, decorative stitches, embroidery, and quilting in the hoop (you need to download the quilting files included with the purchase of the pattern.) The first meeting will be purchasing the pattern, reviewing the pattern instructions as a group and the group will decide how often we will meet. No machines will be brought into the meeting. Bring something to take notes with. We can bring the Floor Demo into the classroom if we need the machine to look at something. There will be a discount the day of the meetings for supplies related to the project. The pattern uses 5 Cotton Shot fabrics. Meeting time is only an hour as there will be the embroidery on everything club that starts at 10.

Bernina - Embroidery on Everything is a monthly course for all Bernina machines, focused on Bernina embroidery accessories and popular embroidery techniques. These projects can be done on other models of embroidery machines. Each lesson will include a video and handout for you to use as you learn and hone your embroidery skills. The club meeting will consist of watching the monthly video, discussing questions, demonstrating as needed, and show and share your embroidery projects. The first month's meeting will include details for the club including how to order the design files which also includes the monthly videos and handouts in case you are unable to come to a club meeting. Please contact the shop if want to purchase the Bernina files before the club meeting. We will have a daytime club meeting followed by an afternoon available if you want to bring your machine and work on the project. We will have a nighttime club meeting if there is enough interest. We can have a second night a month to bring in your machine to work on the project if there is enough interest as well. th will be an introduction to the club and an explanation of how the club will work including how to get the project files from the Bernina Skill Hub, pre-ordering kits for the next month's projects, and the optional use of the classroom after the daytime meetings to begin the project - you will do the project at home

Golden Rule Club
The Golden Rule Club is for the Garment Sewist who owns the Golden Rule system. The club's purpose is to meet, share, and learn from each other on using the system. We will prepare one pattern during the meeting and review the basic construction steps for it. Please bring your system binder and the pattern/garment that you have worked on or completed to share with the group. Beginners and Experienced Sewist are welcome and encouraged to join us. The $10 is to reserve your spot. You will get a $10 store credit to use after the meeting in the shop that day. Please reserve your spot as we will cancel the meeting 7 days prior if there is less than 4 people registered for it.

We are doing a pouch club with Moda and Sew-Lux Fabric pouch designs. There will be a specific pattern each month starting in July on the 3rd or 4th Thursday (specific dates below). Many of the designs are Charm pack, Mini Charm pack or large scrap friendly. The club time will be viewing the blog when available, going over the directions, fabric needs, possibly a demo, and discussions about previous projects, this month's project, and next month's project. The club meeting will begin at 12:30 and the classroom should be available at 11:30. you are welcome to come before class to work independently or bring a lunch in and eat with Kim. The meeting should take 1-2 hours. You can stay until the shop closes at 4. You can bring your machine and sewing supplies if you would like to begin the project here. The day of the club meeting, you will get a discount on the pattern and materials needed for the current month's project. Let's learn together and use our Bernina Sergers each month. The first meeting will be reviewing stitches, uses, and show and tell. Bring something you have done with your serger. We will make a calendar of topics for the future meetings. You can bring your machine if you want. We will provide a machine to test settings and different threads and materials. for the June meeting - morning will be a sit and sew and the meeting will be in the afternoon. In July and August, the morning will be the Golden Rule Club and the afternoon will be the Serger Club
